Submit Yahoo Directory , does it woth ?
I think , Yahoo directory links are not worth the price . That same $299 could buy you a lot of back links from a variety of different sites. I would preffer spend that $299 buying unique articles .you’d get short term website traffic as well as long term traffic and it will definitely get you a hell load of backlinks .
There was a point in time 4-5 years ago where paying to be in the Yahoo! Directory would have been a fantastic idea. Not too surprisingly, that kind of misinformation still gets spread through old ebooks and the like. It’s previous importance was because of its authority status, but I’m pretty sure it’s been devalued by Google as its a very well known paid link. In terms of traffic, I doubt anyone would receive very much from it.
There’s been a lot of buzz for the last month or so about whether Yahoo Directory has lost page rank on its internal pages.
Some folks are speculating it might have something to do with the fact that Yahoo is a paid directory. Others think this is nonsense. I took a look at some of the internal pages and they do not show any rank at all on my meters. I have learned from seminars and books including the rich dad series by Robert Kiyosaki that it is important to identify and focus on income- generating marketing activities. Thus it is important to track which sales arising from which marketing activities. In this way, I will be able to identify which marketing activities are worth focusing. Other than internet marketing, this rule can be applied to any other marketing activities.
